I think its fantastic. Although I'm not impressed how it's been touted as a fully 64 bit OS yet every machine besides the XServes are still booting a 32 bit kernel

it's just the more than 32Gigs thing right? no mac can handle more than 32Gigs other than XServe and you can make it boot to 64 bit

I'm not sure what the implications are to be honest. Most Mac's besides the XServes can't physically address anywhere near 32 gig of RAM so its not an issue for a long time either way.

I'm just disappointed to be honest. I was pretty impressed that Apple were going to be the first company to have the guts to go fully 64 bit but it appears that the industry just isn't ready yet. I'm looking forward to the 32 bit platform being obsoleted and the stupid 32 bit vs 64 bit debates ending, it's dragged on far too long now... lol

To be honest, 64bit and stuff makes no difference to me. I just love how much quality has been put into things. They have fixed soooo many little things you hardly notice.

    agreed

by the way I read that there will be another date problem like the one they had on 2000 but some kind of date finished for 32 bit and they need 64 bit right?

And broke a lot of things you do notice... lol. That's just new OSes for you though and a few updates will sort it I'm sure. I'm happy with it overall though, the speed increase is really noticeable and very welcome.
