    Default How to remove/add start up application in Mac OS X

    Ever wanted to get red from the application that slow down your mac while booting,well in this video I will show you how to remove it.


    go to "System Preferences" then "Accounts", now go to the "Login items" from there you can add application by pressing the + sigh and delete application by pressing - sign.

    THANK YOU!!! I have one other question for you. I'm trying to remove Suitcases from the startup and I did what you said to do and it won't go away. The program is not running, so I don't know why this one won't delete while all the other ones I deleted worked out just fine! Any suggestions are most welcome.

    Do you mean Suitcases the font app? Maybe it have to run at start up, some programs like "iStat" Menubar app.

    Try this: Go to "System Preferences" then at "Others" see if the app settings are there and see if you can change it from there, or just go to the app and from there check in the Preferences.
