So do you like to have more rating options? well here I will show you how to enable 1/2 (half star) rating for iTunes in Mac OS X
1) Open Terminal.app (Applications => Utilities => Terminal.app)
2) type the following code:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes allow-half-stars 1
3) Quit iTunes for this to take effect.
you can reverse this by replacing 1 with 0
