here I will show you how to "Empty Trash securely" by default in Mac OS X, this is great if you have important documents that you want to get rid off all the time, otherwise don't use it, it will just slow down your mac.

1) Open "Finder" preferences.

2) Go to "Advanced" tab.

3) Check the box "Empty Trash securely"
