ever wanted to disable spotlight to save resource, well in this video i will show you how to do it.

first go to "System Preferences" then go to Spotlight and uncheck all the categories then go to the "Privacy" tab and add your root folder "your hard disk".

that's it, enjoy.

note: don't do it just for fun because it will take more than hour to index if you want it back on.
