    Default Turning Off Mac OS X Services

    These are handy features but they also take up resources, so why have them when you don't need them?

    1) Turn off Universal Access: System Preferences > Universal Access and turn off anything you're not using.

    2) Turn off Bluetooth: System Preferences > Bluetooth and press "Turn Bluetooth Off".

    3) Turn off speech: System Preferences > Speech Recognition.

    4) Turn off internet sharing: System Preferences > Sharing > Internet.
