    Default Mastering The Finder In Mac OS X

    Here are list of command for new Mac OS X users to get conformable with Finder (Windows Explorer equivalent):

    1) Open a new Finder window: Command-N

    2) Create a new folder: Command-shift-N

    3) Get more information about a selected file or folder: Command-I

    4) Switch to the list view: Command-1

    5) Switch to the icon view: Command-2

    6) Switch to the column view: Command-3

    7) Switch to the cover flow view: Command-4

    8) Show view options for a folder: Command-J

    9) Create an alias of an item: Command-L

    10) Move the selected item(s) to trash: Command-delete

    11) Select multiple files and folders even if hey aren’t next to one another: Command-click

    12) Select multiple files and folders that are next to one another: shift-click

    13) Bring up a contextual menu with addi-tional options: control-click

    14) Create a copy of the item being dragged: option-drag

    15) Move the item being dragged from one drive to another: Command-drag

    16) Create an alias of the item being dragged but leave the original where it is: Command-option-drag

    17) Start a search: Command-F

    18) Jump to your user folder: Command-shift-H

    19) Jump to the applications folder: Command-shift-A

    20) get help with the Finder (or any other application): Command-shift-?

    Nice, this will definately help people get familiar with the commands of a MAC... when they are switching from Windows to Mac.....I got a BigMac

    MAC make up has commands or are you talking about Media Access Control address? Buhahah :3 In all seriousness its pretty much replacing control with command, or as some used to like to call it apple key :3.
