    Default How to put iPhone/iPod touch in recovery (DFU) mode

    If you need to put your iPhone or iPod touch in recovery or DFU mode do the following:

    Note: Make sure that your device is connect to the computer with USB cable

    1. Turn off your iPhone or iPod Touch.

    2. Hold down the power and home button together.

    3. When the Apple logo appear, remove your finger from power button but continue to hold the home button down.

    4. iTunes should automatically open and tells you it's in recovery more.

    5. To recover there are two ways:

    a) firmware file store in computer: for Mac hold the alt (option) key and press "Restore", for Windows hold the shift key and press Restore.
